About Fit for Need
We raise procurement standards and help companies create real value—not just savings.
Founded in 2022 with support from the Moldova–Poland Development and Entrepreneurship Center (CDAMP) under the project “Young Entrepreneurs as an Opportunity for the Economic Development of the Republic of Moldova” (co-financed by the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Fit for Need connects practitioners, shares modern methods, and builds a professional community.

Our Story
The name “Fit for Need” comes from a slang expression used in Adelaide, South Australia, where founder Elena Covalciuc worked for major corporations such as Electrolux and Philmac. There she learned to value practical, needs-driven solutions—a mindset that inspired the mission behind the company.
Elena, an Executive MBA graduate of the Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland), brings broad international experience, including in Australia. Her vision is simple: together we build a stronger economy by professionalizing procurement.

Impact So Far
Our course “Essential Procurement Skills” (Nov 23–24, 2023) gathered leading companies such as Purcari, Starnet, Viorica, Moldelectrica, EFES, Victoriabank, and Moldindconbank—participants called it “useful, interesting, and effective.”
What’s Next
In November 2025, we’ll host an in-person event in Chișinău for senior specialists, managers, and procurement directors—a dedicated space to turn real challenges into concrete solutions.
